弗朗茨・卡夫卡（Franz Kafka）1883年生于布拉格一个犹太商人家庭。1901年入该城德语大学,1906年获法学博士学位。主要作品有：《美国》（Amerika）《审判》（The Trial）《城堡》（The Castle）但均未完成。

卡夫卡1924年因肺病死于维也纳附近的疗养院。
