莉迪亚•戴维斯(Lydia Davis),1947年出生于美国麻省北安普敦,美国当代最著名的短篇小说家之一,同时致力于译介法国经典文学,如福楼拜、普鲁斯特的作品。著有七本短篇小说集及一部长篇。2013年荣获布克国际奖。

曾获古根海姆奖、兰南文学奖、麦克阿瑟“天才奖”。2013年,美国艺术与文学学院为其颁发功勋奖章。
