《翻译史研究(2012)》为香港中文大学翻译研究中心的学术论文集。香港中文大学中国文化研究所翻译研究中心成立于1971年,致力于向西方读者推介中国文学,自1973年起出版《译丛》半年刊,专门刊登中国文学英译作品。近年着力推动中国翻译史研究,除每年举办一次“宋淇翻译研究论文纪念奖”评选活动外,每两年举办一次“书写中国翻译史：中国译学新芽研讨会”及“阅读中国翻译史：中国翻译史研究暑期班”。

王宏志,香港大学文学学士及哲学硕士,伦敦大学亚非学院哲学博士,主修现代中国文学及翻译。现任香港中文大学翻译系人文学科讲座教授、翻译研究中心主任、香港文化研究中心主任、复旦大学兼任教授及博士生导师。曾任香港中文大学文学院副院长、人文学科研究所所长,新加坡南洋理工大学文学院院长、人文与社会科学学院院长。主要研究范围为20世纪中国文学、晚清以来中国翻译史、香港文化研究。出版专著包括《重释“信达雅”：二十世纪中国翻译研究》、《鲁迅与左联》、《文学与政治之间》及《翻译与文学之间》等共十余种。
